Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Lilikoi Finances, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of the United States.

Lilikoi Finances provides educational information and organizational tools. It does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice, and using it does not create an advisory, fiduciary, brokerage, or professional relationship of any kind between you and us.

Nothing in the app is a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security, fund, or other asset. Calculators and simulators produce estimates from the assumptions you enter; real markets, rates, and tax rules differ, and past performance does not predict future results. Decisions with real stakes deserve a professional who knows your full situation.

Where bank connections are offered, they are made through Plaid, whose own terms and privacy policy govern that part of the flow. You can always enter your numbers yourself instead. We show you data as our provider reports it. Balances and transactions may be delayed, incomplete, or occasionally wrong, and your bank’s own records are always the authority. Do not rely on Lilikoi as your system of record for tax, legal, or payment purposes.

The service is in public beta. Features may change or be removed, data may occasionally be disrupted, and bugs are expected — telling us about them is genuinely helpful. Keep your own records of anything you cannot afford to lose. You can export everything from Settings at any time.

You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe it has been compromised. Please do not attempt to access other users’ data, disrupt the service, scrape it at scale, or use it to break the law.

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Lilikoi Finances is free. There are no paid plans and no feature costs money to use. If that ever changes, we will tell you first, and nothing you already use will start costing money without your agreement.

The financial data you enter is yours. You grant us only the permission needed to operate the service for you — storing it, displaying it back to you, and processing it to produce the features you use. We claim no ownership of it.

The service is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any figure it shows is accurate.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any financial loss arising from decisions you make while using the service.

We may update these terms; the last-updated date above will change and material updates will be announced in the app. Questions go to support@lilikoifinances.com.
